This week has been a very emotional week, it is the beginning of a new life. I taught my last classes with Songbirds Music and today is my last day working at Western Health Home care. I have been with Western Health since July of 2008 and I have been with Songbirds Music since September of 2009. With these two jobs I have created life long relationships, witnessed bouncing babies blossom into lovely dancing and singing songbirds, had good times and terrible times and I have gained more experience and knowledge that I ever thought possible. I am grateful for everything that I have encountered throughout this path in my life and I am ready for my new adventure. We all make poor decisions at times but looking back into my past I wouldn't change a thing. I would not be who I am today if I changed who I was yesterday. My time here is through at the moment, I have a new purpose that is taking me to Ventura to study Music Therapy. It is so reassuring to hear from those around me that they know I will be a great Music Therapist and that they are so excited for me. I have waited a long time to make this move and begin this process and it is what I truely want to do, it is my passion. A life with purpose is a life worth living. Cheers to new beginnings my friends.
